Droid Drupal Editor test

Yo, what it is.

Hello

Hi from the HTC

Hello again

Hey there

Windows 7 and Google Calendar Sync

I was having problems with Google's calendar sync working with Outlook on Windows 7. The fix is simple, as suggested by this post it seems that by simply setting the calendar sync to run in Windows XP SP3 compatibility mode, all your problems will go away.

Also I found a cool desktop calendar widget which you can get to by clicking the image below:

OpenID

Just been playing with OpenID, it's really cool. Looks like to get it working with Hostgator properly you need to request to be white listed as the redirects make mod_security get a little worried. The guys at Hostgator are really helpful thought and I was up and running in no time.

Also I was just thinking that OpenID is a little like the Lord of the Rings, it's the one ID to rule them all. Gekk humour I know. I think it's a cool idea but not too easy to explain to people. I guess in a few years everyone will be using it anyways.

QR Codes are cool

So I just found out Drupal has a QR and Data matrix code generator module. Here's an example and link to the module's page

[mobilecodes type="qr" data="url" size="medium" name="mobile_codes link" tinyurl="0"]http://drupal.org/project/mobile_codes[/mobilecode]

Shozu post

Cool, Shozu supports blogging to Wordpress sites which means I can post to my blog from it even though it's Drupal ... Bonus

Coffee Making robot

An entertaining video of a robot making coffee. There's a lot of human interaction between scenes but it's very entertaining none the less.

Skyfire for Windows Mobile

This blog entry was written by me using SkyFire on my Pocket PC. Skyfire looks really promising, most of the Pocket PC Web browsers are terrible or if they are any good they are too bulky and memory hungry. Skyfire on the other hand seems to be the best of both worlds, it's lightweight and really good, it renders pages like the desktop on a mobile. It also runs on Symbian, check it out here: http://www.skyfire.com/
